Daniel James Cox
Daniel James Cox is a Sydney-based artist who has spent the last decade working on Hollywood productions from his studio in Australia, and in various creative roles for leading film production companies.
He graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 1994, achieving a Bachelor of Design, Visual Communications with honours. Most recently, Daniel was invited to join the talented crew at Bazmark Films, developing the look of Baz Luhrmann's exciting romantic epic film, 'Australia'.

Two years ago, Daniel moved into portraiture painting, developing his own technique of working digital in the initial stages to help speed up the traditional portrait process. Since then, Daniel's work has been received as "refreshing" and "full of warmth and mood", without sacrificing the likeness of the sitter.
Daniel's early paintings featured soft romantic females in classic Victorian style, seasonal themes, and are the main reasons why his mixed-media/oil paintings are gradually being noticed by collector's in the art world.
